A group company, active in various geographies and industries contacted Mentoro to design its organizational structure and determine its governance model.

Structure should always follow strategy. Therefore, our first action was to understand the vision and business strategy of the group in each industry they operate in. We then determined existing competencies in the organization and to what degree these competencies support the vision and strategic direction of the group.

We developed various organizational structure alternatives, along with their advantages and disadvantages, determined main tasks of different functions and RACI matrices, developed roles and responsibilities charts for critical roles in the organization, identified necessary corporate and individual competencies, and designed the governance model for the group. Our client now has an agile organization that spreads power across the organization, allows fast decision making, prevents beurocracy and silos, allows for cross-learning, collaboration between people/groups and for necessary competencies to develop.
